I live in West Virginia and cropped tops and belly shirts are few and far between. But I consider myself a city gal. The city is where my heart is, and if I want to wear a belly shirt, by golly I am. And I will wear it with confidence. Thirty is the new twenty right? So why not?
If you see me day to day I usually don't have a purse. I walk about ten steps from my car to my work and I have my cell phone in one hand and my keys in the other. I typically don't need anything else. If they made pants that allowed you to carry all those things without making it look like you have a utility belt on, I'd buy it.
So an ideal purse is one that is not too bulky, easy to carry, ability to expand if needed, and can be worn as a cross body, under the arm, or satchel. So what purse has all these functions? This one!! And it now comes in blush and black. LOVE IT! Perfect to wear with anything casual. Click the links below or read more to see more options.
I have two friends of mine (you know who you are) that wear Lilly Pulitzer all day long! Lilly in the morning, Lilly in the evening, Lilly at supper time. So I figure I'd take a gamble on a Lilly dress and go all girly girl.
I have to admit, when you wear a Lilly dress it just makes you smile. The colors are so fabulous and fun! Here's my first Lilly and I have to tell you- I'm digging it.
Year after year I try to clean out my closet. And year after year I hang on to this bag. It was my first designer bag and one I can't seem to throw it out or give it away. I've had this bag now for 10+ years and it's still in mint condition. When you carry a Louis Vuitton bag- you feel like a million bucks. I'm frugal with most things, but I think one designer bag is worth breaking the budget.
But just because you have an expensive bag doesn't mean you have to pair it with expensive clothes. This Marshall's dress from Thyme & Honey was only $20, you can't beat the feminine feel and ruffle sleeves. Perfect to wear on a sunny day. I've linked one below that is REALLY similar and it's only $28! So happy shopping!
There's nothing better than impromptu shopping and finding some good deals. I do ALOT of online shopping and I often times forget the shops I have in my own backyard. I have always been a fan of Marshall's and this dress is one of many fabulous finds I stumbled upon this last week.
No, I'm not talking about the virus that is spread by mosquitoes or a person's desire for people of Asian descent. I'm talking about my love for all things yellow - the sun, daffodils, this skirt, and lemons. LOVE them all! Read more or click on the links to purchase.
