So there's always that one color your eyes are drawn to. I am a magenta girl, but for my home, I've always loved blues. They say it's soothing, and when I come home form a long day at work - I want to feel just that. I know this room isn't quite complete and my home changes constantly, but here's a sneak peek to the almost finished product.
It's a BIG room. We do have a separate living and family space, so I wanted this room to be all about the conversation. This tufted Kensington couch (pictured in sand) was my first purchase. Everything revolved around the couch. I had my friends from Yeager Interior Design help me pick out the paint color and layout of the room. The wingback chair was a hand me down, and I'd like to cover it in leather soon.
I snagged this coffee table and rug from World Market (both are limited edition) so unfortunately they are both sold out. But World Market is my go to for rugs. I know I'll want to change this whole look up in the next few years, so I find it hard to splurge on a nice rug when my mind is ever changing.
I also love these poufs for my dogs. They are perfect. I bought them from YDI but you can also purchase them here.
The picture - as soon as I saw it in stores, I knew I had to buy it. You can purchase it here.
Now about those mirrors. I get so many compliments on them. I snagged them at homegoods - yes homegoods. Can I get a #fabfind? Oh and the lamps too! The end tables I got from YDI but you can purchase them here.
Across the way is my reading nook. You can read all about it here.
I also have to admit, that I'm in love with wall sconces. If I could put wall sconces everywhere, I would. Actually, I think I have. I got the clock from hobby lobby and the candle wall sconces from homegoods.
