What to pack to Italy?

Let's talk travel essentials for the airplane and your suitcase

ATTENTION FIRST TIME TRAVELERS!! FOLLOW THIS LINK FOR A COMPREHENSIVE LIST OF THINGS TO PACK. IT'S SUPER HELPFUL.

I wanted to link a few of my travel favorites that will keep you comfy on your flight and to help you stay organized while packing.

Some hotels did not have an iron, which surprised me. I found one high voltage steamer (which doesn't have the best reviews, or you could purchase a voltage converter + adapter that could accommodate your blow dryer, curling iron, and steamer (they run about $45 dollars).

If you're not going to purchase a converter,  make sure your curling iron and blow dryer are both able to receive high voltage. The T3 micro curling iron and blowdryer linked below are dual voltage and great to use both at home and in Europe.

Let's talk baggage

Other items I purchased that I LOVED!! This belt bag!! It was the best $15 dollars I spent. When traveling around I wanted my phone to be easily accessible so I could take a quick picture. It can be worn as a crossbody or belt bag.  I carried my phone and map in this belt bag (even hooked my selfie stick to it), and other items such as hand sanitizer, wet wipes, bottled water, etc in my longchamp backpack.

I also links a good durable suitcase with great reviews and my phone case that I am obsessed with. It keeps all my important cards in it and great for compact packing. The only caveat is that I don't ask anyone to take our photos unless they are friends traveling with you. I typically use my selfie stick.

Traveler tip: Try to pack everything in just one check in bag and a backpack. Traveling around Europe trying to roll around two roller bags is almost impossible. I am linking this backpack by Cotopaxi that I saw someone carrying on the airplane and this will be my next purchase when I travel again. Time to retire the 10 year old north face book bag unfortunately.

Let's talk Walking Shoes

For me, having an extremely comfortable pair of shoes is key when traveling. I linked a few of my favorite walking shoes when I travel. For the most part, I wore my birkenstocks, but my friend wore these Eileen Fisher shoes and said they were 5 Starts. I also linked Naot shoes that are equally comfortable, and if you're a tennis shoes person, my husband wore these Nike flyknit tennis shoes and raved about them the entire time. You can't lose with this selection!
