So that one dress that makes you feel a bit daring? This is it. Another incredible jersey dress by Clayton found at Two-Eighteen. Love the cut, the feel, and the versatility. You can wear this with flats OR some nice heels. And let's not overlook this one of a kind YSL clutch. Pair any black dress with a pop of pink for added fashion. Links below and in the slideshow.
Growing up one of my favorite book series was the boxcar children. If I weren't a dentist I'd be a detiectve- hands down. Law & Order,
Dexter, Sherlock Holmes, and Miss Pinkerton 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼. I love this dress for any occasion really. I wore it two days in a week, once to church and once for a night out. I just love how comfortable it is, how pink it is, and how it's fit for any occasion. Trina Turk- you know how to make a woman feel good in anything she wears. Links below and in the slideshow. Tie Dyed? What?! Do you guys remember when tie-dyed was popular? Junior high right? You could go to walmart, grab a $5 white t-shirt, a couple of RIT dye bottles, some rubber bands, and then spend a whole night with your girlfriends and have a blast designing your tee. Little did we know our generation started the DIY trend.
But this shirt y'all love the tie dye, love the tassles on the side, love the crop top, love the off the shoulder. That's right not one, not three, but four trends rolled up into one shirt. And don't be afraid to pair it with another bold print. Just because you've got a pair of statement shoes, doesn't mean you can't pair it with a statement top. Get it now! When you think about what's in right now, this is the shirt that first comes to mind. I wore this top out to dinner recently and I felt like 💃🏻. Love this top and now April @ Shop218 has it in pink seersucker! 🙌🏼
Linked in the slideshow below! Do you remember that little gem of a store in WV I talked about? Well, here's another fabulous find. This dress makes me think of strolling around Nantucket or sailing away to Saint Tropez all while sipping on champagne. I am absolutely in love with it! I think it's also perfect for any upcoming 4th of July event. Get it while it last, because it won't last long. Linked in the slideshow below.
April is the owner of Shop 218 and it is a little gem hidden in the small town of Ripley, WV. I was hesitant about sharing all the incredible outfits I got from there because it's the place you secretly don't want anyone else to know about. That way, you'll be the only person in town sporting the 218 fabulous finds.
However, I couldn't resist sharing about WV's hidden fashion secret. It's a bright, cheery shop full of comfort tees, skinny jeans, and Ted Baker and I hate to keep that all to myself. Here are few of the many fabulous items you can find at Shop218. Yumi Kim is now one of my favorite designers for dresses. The way this material feels and flows "blue" me away. This dress makes you truly feel like a classy lady. This was another Rent the Runway dress and I love it for any occasion.
Touched down in the land of the Mountaineers
In the middle of the pouring rain Mountain Mama, won't you look down over me Yeah I got a first class ticket But I'm as blue as a girl can be Then I'm walking in Charleston Walking with my feet ten feet off of Lee Walking in Charleston But do I really feel the way I feel I'm a little quirky but that's the first song that popped into my mind when I started to write this blog post. Living in WV m truly has been an amazing experience so far. My husband grew up in WV and after I completed my residency in Chicago we decided raising a family here would be ideal-and I was right. Do you remember when you were growing up and all the neighborhood kids would get together? You'd all go exploring, rollerblade, or play basketball in the culdesac - that's how it is here. WV has a strong sense of community. This past year I opened up my own practice and the support I received from the community has been overwhelming. I had my doubts at first, but I know I am here to stay. Love it here-love WV. Shop this outfit by clicking on the links in the slideshow below. I have always been a fan of white pants, because white goes with everything right? I am LOVING these distressed ripped jeans by Level 99. Before I found these, I had an extremely hard time finding jeans that didn't have the waist gap or were comfortable enough to wear all day.
Aside from florals (and you all know how much I love florals) the other fashion trend I'm loving is high waisted pants+cropped tops. Yes!! I don't care if you have kids or if you're over 30, you can still rock this trend! Here are my favorite jeans (The Janie by Level 99) paired with a few of my favorite cropped tops. You can rent this crop top here or purchase. Shop away! |
